Description
Turbomill type size reduction for liberation, separation and material preparation prior to additional sortation methods. A higher circumferential speed and the considerably smaller grinding gap characterize the RPMX. This feature set makes it ideal for ball shaping and separating composite parts with particle sizes from 0 to 15 mm.
1500 x 160 mm Rotor Diameter & Height
12 Hammers
90 M/S Rotor RPM
315 kW 400V Electric Motor
Unique Crushing Principle:
Impeller rotor is one of its kind worldwide
High energy load to the feed material thanks to centrifugal forces
Impact and shearing forces produce intensive shredding & shaping (balling) results
Rotation results in a nearly constant gap
Common Applications:
**Ductile metals**
Cleaning and shaping of ductile metals into balls for better melt or sorting performance.
**Electrical and electronic waste**
Liberation of composites used in electrical components,
such as assembled and disassembled printed circuit boards,
switches, connectors, and other plastic-metal composites
**Metal composites**
Separation of metal composites and pre-crushed ferrous and
non-ferrous metals such as cans, window profiles, shredded
electronic waste, and shredder heavy fractions
**Brittle-hard materials**
Crushing of brittle-hard materials in order to separate from
composites, e.g. remnants of glass in window profiles and
ceramic remnants on metal parts
