A granulator is a type of pulverizer used to grind material into fine powders, tiny shards, shapes, or granules on a continuous basis. Pulverizing equipment is used to crush raw materials and manufactured products.
Examples include aluminum, coal, plastic, resin, rubber, tires, and medical waste.
There are numerous types of pulverizing machines; hammer mills, ring mills, double roll crushers, shredder granulators, impactors, and wood hogs.

Granulators are pulverizers used to grind and crush wire, plastic, and rubber. Like shredders, these machines have thousands of evenly-spaced blades that finely mince the material. Once this material is minced, it can be melted and reformed into a new product.
